Technical Lead
I've built systems used by millions.
Now I'm building the AI that understands them.
From India's first super-app to agentic AI — 6.5 years architecting production systems at the intersection of frontend precision and full-stack engineering. Currently leading AI platform development at Taj Hotels.
Who I am
I'm Sai Rohith D, a Technical Lead and Frontend Architect based in India with 6.5 years of experience building products that millions of people use every day.
I've led engineering on some of India's most ambitious digital products — from Tata Neu, the country's first super-app, to a federated platform powering 10+ IHCL brand websites spanning luxury palaces, private villas, and aviation. I don't just write code; I shape systems, mentor teams, and own outcomes.
Currently leading the build of an Agentic AI hotel concierge — multi-agent LangGraph architecture that lets guests book rooms, request services, and get answers through natural language.

Philosophy
Architecture first. I've spent 6.5 years making decisions that determine whether codebases scale, whether teams move efficiently, and whether users feel the system working — or notice it failing. From Tata Neu's national-scale promotion engine to a federated platform powering 10+ IHCL brand websites, to an agentic AI concierge that books hotel rooms through natural language.
What makes the work interesting is never the technology. It's the boundary problem: where does the frontend end, where does the backend begin, and who owns the contract between them? I've led those conversations at scale, and I build the systems that make the answer stick.

What people say
Sai is one of those rare engineers who thinks in systems, not just components. He architected our entire monorepo from scratch, delivered 7 sub-brand websites with a small team, and never missed a deadline. Genuinely one of the best technical leads I've worked with.
Working with Sai on the Shoppers Stop platform was exceptional. He took full ownership of the frontend architecture, introduced GraphQL integrations that cut API load significantly, and mentored the junior devs along the way. A true lead in every sense.
Sai delivered the Enhanced Games PWA in under 6 weeks — live scoring, athlete profiles, ticket scanning, and streaming. He made architectural decisions under pressure that most seniors would take weeks to debate. Remarkable under tight timelines.
